Here's my buddy

Happy Friday!
I thought I'd introduce you to my buddy, Ray. His name is Razor but we call him Ray. I used to say we call him Ray because he's not that sharp. ...hehehe... I got him when he was 2 and a 16 year old boy had named him. We've been together 11 years now. That seems hard to believe. He always happy to see me and follows me everywhere. Well, almost everywhere. He doesn't like my sewing room. He sits outside the room when I sew. He watches and waits for me. I don't think he thinks he has enough room in there. DH says he doesn't like the pins on the floor. Ray doesn't hear very well anymore and I don't think he sees as well as he used to, but these things don't seem to bother him. He still protects us from pesky cats (when he sees them) and he keeps us on schedule. I can't imagine being without him.

Well, things at work should get back to a 'normal' pace pretty soon. I've been spending more time planning more projects instead of working on any of them. I am working on a new crochet top and I will post a picture soon. I've had this drive to make a perfect t-shirt and have tried several. I think my problem is that I'm not really sure what I want that perfect T to be. I have a pair of pants cut out and ready to sew. And, to make things more fun, I've been looking at scrapbooking and stamping. Why do I need more hobbies? Just because they're fun! There's really no other reason. I don't know when I'm supposed to work on all of these, but that doesn't seem to matter.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Awww buddy is too cute. You sound like me... want a perfect garment and unsure about what I want that perfect garment to be...lol. Looking forward to some scrapbook layouts. Are you working on a crochet top from the recent Crochet! magazine...?

Perfect tee, I wonder if it exists? :-) I guess it depends on what fitting issues you're dealing with; currently I'm working with Vogue 8323 (scoop neck version) and V8151 (non-gathered version). Truthfully though, my most successful tee-type garment this summer has been a tank that I traced off from a ready-to-wear.
